2Checkout and the INS Utility
As we all know, 2Checkout's new interface ( the third admin interface on their end since inception ) has a new section called "Notifications" under the account tab in their interface.
This is the INS ( instant notification system ) they have implemented for all orders ( old and new ) in your account to send a notification of anything that occurs ( new payment, cancellation, etc. ) to a handler. We have been testing this system and can confirm that WHM.AutoPilot supports INS completely.
New orders that originated in the system will go through just like normal but when payments are made to new cycles, the invoices automatically get updated as paid, etc., or if they cancel, the order goes into pending cancel mode and the hosting order is suspended.
Old orders, that did not originate in V3, can be handled the same way ( with a little more work ). What we have been testing for over a month now is the INS Assignment system that gives you the ability to assign a log record to an order. On all future passbacks for that same order from 2Checkout to the system, it will update the order you assigned it to in AutoPilot. Meaning, no more manual updates of invoices from 2Checkout for those orders that did not originate in V3.
I feel we still have about another week of testing on this module before it is released in v3.2.63 just before I get another year older. If all is succesful in this addon module, we will be moving efforts towards PayPal IPN passback handler that will essentially provide the same order management for orders NOT originated in V3.
